'MOORI' BUFFALO TEE BY REECE THOMPSON

A$60.00

‘Moori’ (moo-ri) is the Wubuy word for the domestic water buffalo, found throughout northern Australia including the lands around Numbulwar. They were initially imported in the 19th century as a source of meat, but the wild population grew significantly and out of control. Moori gravitate towards floodplains, and it is common to spot them in Numbulwar while out harvesting pandanus. Better run away quick though!

Reece Thompson is an emerging artist from Numbulwar. His original Moori design graces the entry to the art centre (pictured).

Tees are made from 100% cotton and are available in Pale Pink or Carolina Blue. T-shirts are unisex although sizing is based on AS Colour’s men’s staple T-shirt. Size guide available here.

FREE SHIPPING within Australia.
